68 - Quick, JoJo, the FLIT!

<= Previous | Top | =To Be Continued=>

Last time, we tried to get an ending where nobody died and fucked it up royally. This time, we won't fix it!

That'd take like a whole other playthrough.

Frankly it'd be a waste of everyone's time and energy.

What kind of freak would bother with that?

Certainly not me.

What kind of guy do you take me for?

I've been doing this for literally two years.

Every time I work on it, it reminds me that Cohost is dead and gone.

All I can see are the parts where I messed up or took shortcuts.

So I'm definitely not doing another playthrough.

Instead, we're going to kill God.

Cascada: I'M ALIVE AGAIN

Cascada: Good, that kid's finally getting some sense in her.

Upstairs, we have our new loot.

Each successive version of the sword appears separately on this back wall, if you were so inclined to be a certain kind of perfectionist.

Cascada: Fuck thiiiiis

Rather than different hair or glasses, "chubby"-type characters get this option.

Not a bad look, I guess.

...But Cascada still can't wear the Bunny Suit. She would be too sexy. And I don't really think it's her style anyway.

Better; she's got the whole Sukeban Deka thing going on. Fitting, since we're straight on the warpath this time.

Bradio: Sorry you have to clean up my mess.
Cascada: Nah, you did good.
Bradio: I died in a foreign country, I fucked up when trying to save everyone else, AND I never scored. How good could it be?
Cascada: I wouldn't be able to do it without you. Really.
Bradio: Alright, alright...
Cascada: I served, then you set. All that's left is the spike.
Bradio: Fuck 'em up.
Cascada: Way ahead of you.

Let's head on over to the Ghost House, then into the Sanctuary.

You can only get this far if Jotaro is over level 40.

This is an elaborate reference to the final boss of The Final Fantasy Legend, aka Makai Toshi SaGa, which 7th Stand User borrows from quite heavily. The battle sprite is pretty much straight from the Game Boy version, though the R Patch's palette is from the WonderSwan Color version.

The Creator is just as strong as Ultimate Being Cars and has immunity to almost all status effects. There's also some special scripting for if you use Stop Time against him: he's got a stacking 10% chance to be immune to it for each time you've completed the game. A pretty difficult fight, I'd say.

Or I would, but I've never actually slugged it out proper with the Creator. Why bother, when we have the so-called "God-Slaying Axe"?

Pay no attention to how I've gone from having 1 to 91 of them.

When Cars first uses his Light Blades in Part 2, the narrator gives this whole shpiel about how they work.

If you're playing as a certain player Stand, one of your moves is Chainsaw, and the Creator magically seals that skill at the start of the battle to prevent this very thing from happening. Unfortunately, Midler's Chainsaw attack is not factored into any of this.

The chainsaw weapon in The Final Fantasy Legend is meant to cause instant death as long as the user's Strength is higher than the enemy's Defense, but a programming bug causes it to be the reverse; it only works if the enemy's Defense beats the player's Strength. Which means it works perfectly well against the final boss and his maxed out stats.

Polnareff: It's done.
Cascada: What are we to do now?
Jotaro: ......
Kakyoin: Is there another world beyond?
Jotaro: Shall we go there?
Polnareff: It doesn't matter to me.
Abdul: Well, we didn't do too badly.
Joseph: That's right! We defeated all of the evil.
Cascada: Let's go!

And we enter...

I'm doing a Let's Play and that basically makes me an employee. And what better way to close out said Let's Play than a backstage tour?

The vending machine just there has most of the normal healing items but also Tonio's selection of top-shelf curatives.

This runs through every text box throughout the game where your specific player Stand has unique dialogue.

I like to imagine the kernel for Clayman making this entire game is that the Creator's sprite is just bizarrely similar to Speedwagon.

These doors all transport you to specific points in the game.

And these ones with the party members on them are for jumping straight to the epilogue.

The next room just has some useful NPCs from other JoJo arcs.

We can top off our money all we like.

The Debug Room has every Tarot Assassin in its random encounter pool, though it's already quite low.

We came here before Holly falls ill, on Day 0, so reversing time does nothing.

And a sound test. Sorry I never managed to set up music links for the LP.

We're good.

Cascada's playthrough was on a fresh save, while this one is NG+5 on my other file. She (or rather, Quicksilver) doesn't have any of these in the first place.

Next is the mangaka's studio.

I believe the joke boss fight against Hirohiko Araki here is the toughest enemy in the game and effectively impossible to win. You can try for yourself.

If we check the bookshelves...

These are our hints towards the Golden Ending. Maybe later.

This is useful if you want to get a specific person's ending... except if you're here, you can already just warp to whichever ending you want.

I believe this is specifically for Iggy's solo fight against Pet Shop.

It's only for the Debug Room, but let's roll with the Hot Girl Squad for now.

And take a glimpse at their movesets while we're at it.

It's neat that even these weird optional one-off party members have some unique skills.

Here's the character notes library.

Rainbow:

Likes and dislikes:
Likes: Sweet things. Dislikes: Bitter things. Can drink alcohol, usually cocktails. Is used to alcohol from working in a bar. Likes sweets like vanilla and chocolate, and considers things that are bitter like a poison.
Physique and characteristics:
Age is 20, around 165cm tall, and 69kg. While she looks soft, actually has a firm, muscular body. As good as Michael with his Stand, and he's as good as Dan in Street Fighter Alpha! Has the movements of a wild beast and the specs of a middleweight boxer. Rainbow is a good fighter, but her sense of fighting is wild, able to change her center of gravity in the air, and the trajectory of her jump. She'd be even faster if she didn't wear such an easily tangled outfit.
An amazingly resilient diet will do wonders for your health. Her chest size is big, unaffected by her muscles, resulting in a C cup. Of course I care about that stuff.
Stand Info:
Truth is, she can't manipulate her Stand, even after joining as a companion. Her Stand doesn't have an ego, rather it works on Rainbow's instincts to give her what she wants. The ability range is unusually long, on part with Justice. Unlike Justice however, it doesn't have to hurt you. As long as she's breathing, it can dull the mind. However, the more you hit her, the less binding it is.
Character analysis:
Simply put, a female Gian. [Iro's Note: I don't know what this means.] "What's yours is mine, and what's mine is mine." Gotten into the habit of imitating a classy tone due to admiration of the upper class.

I chose not to do it with Bradio, but one of the more long-term Chaos Mode bits is getting Rainbow to join you on the whole journey. She's a bit more involved than Midler, joins against a few boss fights, and even has some unique endings.

Utah:

Likes and Dislikes:
Likes: Iron pots, stir-friend meats and vegetables. Dislikes: Nothing. Drinks Brandy. Likes it because he can make a quick meal out of whatever meat and veggies he can find on the spot when he drinks.
Physique and characteristics:
In his late 20s. Around 180cm, weighing 90kg. As muscular as 3 men combined, with black eyes. Without his Stand, is about as strong as Sakura from Street Fighter 3rd Strike. Fighting is his forte. He wouldn't want to fight to the death, there's no room for errors. Hard to beat in a physical fight.
Stand info:
Utah's Stand, like Wildhearts or Howlin' Wolf, is semi autonomous, with its own ego. Actually, Saints can talk, but hasn't spoken in front of Utah besides screams. Can't be controlled, but will follow orders. Saints usually appears whenever Utah thinks of his sister.
Character Analysis:
Utah is a "know-it-all, dies young" kind of guy. Hates the sin, not the sinner. Has experience horrible things himself, and has been wandering, hoping to find answers while traveling.

Dude if you're that strong you would probably make world records on the heavyweight boxing circuit even without your Stand. I probably would have liked the game to do a little more with him, but dying early on to up the stakes isn't bad either.

Freu:

Likes and Dislikes:
Likes: Meat. Hates: Vegetables. Drinks whiskey. Eats all kinds of meat, but only likes potatoes. It's not like he can't eat vegetables, but sometimes Utah has to force him to.
Physique and characteristics:
In his mid 30s, around 167cm, weighs 65kg. This tired, 30-something man won't offer you a smile, and they probably never will. Without his Stand, he's both weak mentally and physically. Could be beaten by an adult, or even a young boy or girl. He's slouched over due to years of bad posture and a bad back.
Stand info:
His Stand has no ego, and can't do anything unless manipulated into action. If a sturdy enough rock was chosen, it could withstand a punch from Star Platinum.
Character Analysis:
Typical punk, always demanding money so he can drink and gamble. Came from a good family. However, the failure of his parents' business led to a life of poverty. Hedonistic, self defeating, unmotivated, procrastinating.
Utah and the guy in sunglasses once offered him a job. He said no, saying it sounded like pity, and it'd be unbearable. Now he's still looking to mug people for some change in the alleys.

he just like me fr
except cooler since he has a stand

Joey:

Likes and Dislikes:
Likes: Margherita. Dislikes: Coriander and strong herbs. Likes to drink wine. Although his toxic parents forbade Margherita, he craves fast food pizzas. Also likes other junk food and sweets. Got addicted to drinking alcohol while hiding it from his parents. He was forced to eat herbs in every full-course meal, but although he dislikes them, it doesn't mean he can't eat them.
Physique and characteristics:
A man of Italian descent in mid twenties. Around 178cm and weighs 55kg. His black eyes tend to look large, but his pupils are fully dilated. Has a handsome aura, but also somewhat creepy. Unlike Freu, his physical and mental strength is very poor. He's so weak that a middle schooler could beat him in a normal fight. However, he is strong against the weak and has a high tolerance for gore, so his mental health is not affected by cruel acts.
Stand info:
It's alright to use naturally fallen hair as long as it still has its roots. The drawback is that the doll must be a humanoid in order for it to work. If the implanted hairs come off or the doll can no longer maintain its human form, the ability will be deactivated and it will collapse. Depending on their weight and number, the user will wear out rapidly. Moreover, most of the mook dolls that appear in the game are corpses that have been embalmed and coated in wax.
Character Analysis:
Being mentally broken by parental abuse, he can't distinguish between humans and dolls and considers them both "robots made of flesh." He is a psychopath who thinks of others as videogame NPCs and doesn't believe that they have ego or consciousness.
As a child, his hobbies were collecting insects and making taxidermy. His parents used him as a tool to fulfill their desire of reaching a higher status in society. But because of his lack of compassion, he couldn't blend in with others. His parents committed suicide out of despair, leaving him all alone.

Sorry, a tragic backstory isn't about to make me feel bad for this asshole.

Vins:

Likes and Dislikes:
Likes: Blood, meat, tomato. Dislikes: Garlic. Drinks rum. Basically, started fortune-telling for the purpose of getting a meal (via blood sucking). Feeds on the suicidal and men who try to lay their hands on her.
Physique and characteristics:
A beautiful woman who looks to be in her late twenties. But her real age is almost a century. Around 168cm tall and weight is unknown. Her face has been altered by her vampire abilities. She's a vampire, so even without her Stand, her fighting strength surpasses that of a normal person. Of course, she's not as strong as Dio, but can rip apart a human body with her bare hands.
In order to lure men, she has an excellent figure and her chest size is an I-cup that exceeds 100 centimeters.
Stand info:
"The ability to observe the world from a bird's eye view." To do so means to see the whole picture from a broader perspective. When used as is, the user warps into a room called an "observation room" via a leap into the sky. Then, they can observe the past and the future up close as if seeing a film frame-by-frame. Instead of warping, they can also use the force used for the leap as a gravitational pull when attacking, resulting in a high level of damage that cannot be achieved with the original ability.
By the way, the inspiration for this Stand ability was Gyro Zeppeli who appears in Part 7.
Character Analysis:
She regrets the mistake that she committed (swapping the babies). She holds deep feelings of guilty and wishes to repent, although she is too cowardly to convey the truth. But she is also a dangerous woman capable of doing many terrible things. A vampire who only feeds on the suicidal and criminals, but at the core of her being is a desire to be forgiven. It is because she has a strong sense of repentance stemming from her anxiety and remorse for her impulsive behavior.

I'm still weirded out by the "feeds on the suicidal" thing, not helped by the text here putting it on the same moral level as killing, uh, rapists? And even that part's kinda questionable? In real life, blaming victims of sexual assault for "asking for it" or whatever is obviously complete bullshit, but this game is going out of its way to establish Vins transformed herself a bodacious bod for the express purpose of being a honey trap. No moral high ground there.

Nice to have these all collated in one place. There's going to be a bit of overlap with the notes room we just saw, alas.

Utah:

When strapped for cash, he works as a bouncer to make ends meet. Despite his curiosity and desire to experience as many new things as he can, he's very hardworking and reliable. It is due to that curiosity that he ended up inadvertently learning of Vins' true intentions. The ever-loyal Utah traveled to Singapore to warn the protagonist, but was killed and zombified.
[Stand: Saints]
Emits a field of protective light that can be used to conceal oneself, absorb damage, and soothe wounds. It can also flap its wings rapidly to create gusts of wind, or shine brightly to blind the foe.

His Stand gives me "JRPG Main Heroine" vibes. Apparently Clayman tweeted out some extra info about Utah's backstory at some point, establishing that Saints was his sister's Stand that he somehow inherited after she died. Tracks considering what was written in the notes section, I guess.

Mask:

Appears after turning back from Dio's Manor. A self proclaimed bounty hunter covered in bandages from the neck up. Maybe you've seen him before... He wears a mask like Zorro, one of the most iconic characters in history, refusing to use a real name. Just like a certain equine you're thinking of, he won't go to confront Dio with you.
[Stand: Caliphate]
Described as a handgun which can fire endlessly, with no loss of ammunition, and decent fire power. As a side note, the term "Caliphate" is the title of the highest authority of the Islamic world. It's often translated as "Emperor", better known as "the prophet's agent".

I get why he's such a hidden optional character; it's probably a little awkward to include someone with a Stand so similar to a canon character like Hol Horse.

Rainbow:

A natural-born Stand user who is not yet aware of her Stand. A phony fortuneteller who uses hypnotism to make her "predictions" true, which keeps customers coming back. Though she makes a decent living telling fortunes, she was unable to resist the lure of Dio's generous cash offer, and headed to Japan to attack the protagonist by manipulating delinquents.
Incidentally, after the protagonist's departure, Joey forget to bring her on the plane, so she now passes her days in extorting people until she makes enough for the return fare.
[Stand: Bent Out Of Shape]
Can manipulate the part of the brain that governs inhibition. However, the affected party will only rampage blindly without some means of receiving orders. It has a very long range and effective radius, even among Stands, but any kind of physical or mental shock will quickly dispel its effects. Since Rainbow never knew of her Stand, she simply understood herself to be a hypnotizing genius, though in reality she's just an amateur. Actually, her true talents lie in martial arts.

She could probably become an all-timer pop idol with that powerset.

silverfox.png Silver Fox:

This billionaire and induced Stand user normally goes by the name Charlie Rich, and received this moniker due to his silver hair and narrow eyes. As he could have anything he wished for since the day he was born, he grew up to be an unmotivated and disinterested individual. To relieve his boredom, he spends most of his fortune on cheap thrills like gambling, and when he's at his most bored, he'll even partake in games of Russian Roulette.
After awakening his Stand, he gained an interest in Stand users, and decided to host a house party for the Slaves to Fate at his mansion, but the occasion was spoiled by a horde of zombies. Realizing at the last minute Vins was using him, he fled the zombies and the boulder to the attic and hid in terror.
[Stand: Unchained Melody]
Able to make a building escape-proof. This involves not only sealing all exits, but making walls, floors, and windows unbreakable. However, this power only affects the building, so if one can find soil or a waterway, it's possible to dig a tunnel or swim to the outside world.

A solid monster-of-the-week type Stand here. I could see this being just a random arc in the middle of Part 4 or Part 5.

Faith:

An apathetic man who works as an assassin for Dio. Discovered his Stand after being pricked by the arrow. Likes to ask rhetorical questions. Though not loyal to Dio, he deduced that working for him was the most advantageous scenario. He has no friends, or even acquaintances, but figures they'd just hold him back anyway.
He hates to be bothered and dislikes making conversation, so he usually spends his time drinking and smoking alone. He was an assassin even before discovering his Stand.
[Stand: Fireflies]
Can turn flies into giant, fire-breathing monsters. To trigger the Stand's effects, the user must apply burning cigarette ash to the insect. Instead of killing the fly, the heat turns into energy inside of its body, causing it to grow. After that, they're able to be freely commanded by Faith to attack one target. The fly will remain at normal size until in range of that target, then use its energy to grow large and attack with fire. Once the flame in its body runs out, the fly will die.

Not sure how you manage to wrangle the flies in range to transform them. This also creates a rationale for how physical attacks work against them in the game, since they're existing physical objects being transformed.

michael.png Michael Walker:

Executive of the Slaves to Fate. An 18-year-old boy and induced Stand user. He looks much older (about 30) which worries him. Deemed worthless by his relatives and bullied throughout his life, he went on a rampage upon awakening his Stand. After being persuaded by Sade in a chance meeting, he began to climb the ranks.
His Stand power is strong, but he is childish, hindered by overconfidence and lacking restraint. Sade professed her love and made him promise to protect her, locking him into gleeful obedience.
[Stand: Power Of Dreams]
A short-ranged Power-type Stand that can cause physical attacks to have the best possible outcome. In simpler terms, it magnifies the effects. For example, one can create a tornado just by swinging one's arm, or cause an earthquake by stomping the ground. Of course, there are limits - the outcome has to, at least hypothetically, be possible. One cannot jump so high that they can fly around.

If you don't think that last bit is possible with this Stand, you gotta expand your mind. Watch some wuxia movies.

Sade:

Induced Stand user and executive of the Slaves to Fate, who pulls the strings from behind the scenes while posing as a secretary. Using the bow and arrow, she recruited a large number of Stand users to form the group. Though Michael was her boss in name, Sade was the true ringmaster of the operation.
[Stand: Promise]
A short-ranged Stand that has the power to make promises come true. Once someone makes a deal with Sade, they become unable to go back on it. If one tries, their free will is overridden and they go berserk, acting automatically in order to fulfill it. The only way to get out of a promise is to take one's own life.
However, the more important the promise is, the weaker the Stand's influence becomes, and if the user dies, then all those under the Stand's control are released. In addition, only one promise at a time can be made with one person, so if another is made, the previous will be nullified. Basically, it's like this: Say she had Michael attack an opponent and pin them down. By promising not to kill them if they promise to follow her, they would be under her control.

I feel like this Stand isn't terribly well explained; the Slaves to Fate stuff doesn't quite work for me in general since we just don't get enough time to parse it all.

henning.png Henning:

An architect in Varanasi who was pricked by the bow and arrow, awakening a Stand without even realizing it. His hobby is drawing up blueprints and sketches of machines. When pricked by the arrow, he was so absorbed in his drawing that he didn't even notice and continued sketching away.
[Stand: Metalium]
Can assemble a miniature version of any machinery drawn on a blueprint and turn it into an automatic Stand. As Henning did not realize his Stand had activated, the miniatures rampaged around town without orders to follow. After noticing them, he was able to control them like RC tanks and helis. Destroying the blueprint will destroy any Stand created from it. There's no damage feedback to speak of, so in a sense, it's extremely powerful. However, the power won't activate from a copy, or if there are any mistakes in the blueprint.

Sure, you can't use a copy, but what's preventing you from copying something by hand? Dude just needs to wait until the War Thunder forums appear and start leaking.

emilio.png Emilio:

An antisocial, paranoid young man. Discovered his Stand after being pricked by the arrow and began a rampage around town. His extreme persecution complex had him convinced that he was being judged and laughed at by people around him, and caused destruction as a means of lashing back at them.
[Stand: Chicken Shack]
Turns a chicken into a gigantic beast that can manipulate air. The Stand must be in contact to remain active, so it sits atop the bird like a saddle. It can move at high speeds, launch blasts of high-pressure air, shoot poisonous gas, and stomp foes with its huge talons. As such, its power is quite high.

Dude probably could have figured something out, even if he apparently needs a live chicken. He'd make a great courier.

Freu Maximus:

A vagabond from Hong Kong. Discovered a Stand when pricked by the arrow and started using it to extort money from passersby. In the beginning, he only vaguely understands how his Stand works, and attacks using brute force. Later, Vins teaches him how to better utilize it, and he climbs the ranks of the Slaves to Fate.
...Well, or so he thought, at least. In truth, he was disposable as far as Vins was concerned.
[Stand: Rinocerose]
Can build rocks onto itself to become a golem. The component parts become part of the Stand once assembled. The Stand itself is a humanoid that's only about Freu's size, and is quite weak for a Stand. Damaging the rock layer won't damage the user, but damaging the Stand inside will. In addition, only naturally formed rocks can be used - a golem made of any other material will take damage normally.

How much human processing counts before a rock is no longer "naturally formed"? I imagine perhaps bricks or concrete wouldn't work, but what about cobblestone? Gravel? What about a curling stone, which is really just a sanded down hunk of granite?

mariska.png Mariska:

A bunny girl with strong racial prejudices. Discovered her Stand after being pricked by the arrow and used it to steal from the wealthy. Hobbies: taking care of animals & savoring others' misery. Favorite type of man: Abdul. Least favorite type: Kakyoin. Likes working as a bunny, but the added influx of rich male victims helps.
[Stand: Shocking Blue]
A Stand that can control and hide itself within water. Though tangible, it does not evaporate and can be damaged by other Stands. It uses the element of surprise to attack, and in fat cannot strike if the opponent isn't shocked. As it's fully automatic, it doesn't transmit damage to the user. Its control over water is not limited to simply moving it, but it can also raise the temperature to a boil, and shoot the scalding hot liquid like a high-pressure jet.
It can also climb into the body of a shocked opponent and control the liquid in their brain, clouding their judgement and warping their mind. Despite its strengths, it cannot take commands besides "surprise this person" and "attack the person once surprised" - everything after that is up to the Stand.

Weirdly elaborate for a Stand that shows up I think twice? I suppose you could say that about most of these original characters.

doncherry.png Don Cherry:

A shady underground broker of unknown age and nationality. He enlists the services of Devo and other assassins in his work. Hobbies: sunbathing, scrapbooking, & harassing his maids. Also likes to set up traps in his mansion to get a rise out of visitors. "Even massacres can benefit from a little humor," he explains.
[Stand: Dirty Work]
Able to create invisible blades suspended in the air. These blades can also create "slash energy" that remains after slicing. Though this energy disappears after a few minutes, it can be repelled by the Stand and used as a projectile. The Stand can itself morph into blade form and be used as a human-sized sword.

Nice and simple, though I'm realizing this game has a fair number of enemy Stands whose gameplay experiences amount to "some of these tiles damage you".

Joey Operetta:

An ostentatious businessman/closet otaku who likes to play dress-up. After being pricked by the arrow, was scouted out for Dio by Enya. Has no loyalty to Dio, instead working for cash. Heads to Japan to assassinate Joseph and Abdul while Kakyoin takes care of Jotaro. However, as he commanded his dolls to "kill Stand users that oppose Dio," they all go for the protagonist, who is closest, and fail.
He continues to pursue the group, but after goofing up his assassination attempts numerous times, he's finally deemed useless by Dio and is eliminated by the Egyptian God Stand users.
[Stand: Murderdolls]
Can use strands of hair to control dolls. There's no limit to how many can be controlled, and damage isn't transmitted to the user. Although this particular user has a fondness for dolls that resemble girls, any kind of doll can be used. The dolls have low precision, though this could be attributed to the user's inexperience.

Not only is he a huge creep but he also refuses to use his powers to make Gundam Build Fighters a reality. Rest in piss.

kate.png Kate Honeybee:

A nurse from Italy who is a Stand user from birth. Was scouted out by Enya and became Dio's underling. Is completely infatuated with Dio, believing that there is no greater joy in life than being of use to him. Likes: Honey. Hates: Monkeys. Hobbies: Sleeping.
[Stand: Alhirt]
A long-range, automatic Stand that takes the form of countless insects called Green Hornets. With the exception of the queen, defeating the bees will not damage the user. The queen hides in Kate's cap to create more worker bees.

Having both Kate and Faith in the game is some solid asset economy when it comes to enemy types.

amber.png Sweet Amber:

A girl who became infatuated with Dio and traveled to his mansion to be eaten, but was pricked by the arrow and awakened her Stand. Her pessimistic, depression-prone personality combined with her short fuse means she often runs from place to place as if in a panic. She speaks unusually quickly, and is hard to understand.
[Stand: Frantic]
This Stand's touch can induce psychological pressure in a foe by converting the impact force of its blows into stress. Enough of this pressure can cause ruptures and hemorrhages. Even the air particles it touches carry some of its effect, so just getting close causes your ears to ring. Its power is so strong that it can even affect itself, so it has safety valves around its head to suppress it. If they're opened up by damage, an explosion of feedback will be created.

I could not find an appropriate portrait for Amber and had to just jury-rig a solution. Bah.

dejavoodoo.png Deja Voodoo:

An induced Stand user businessman who started working as assistant director of the Sundarbans radio station after being laid off from his job. As revenge, he used his Stand power to massacre all his supervisors at his old company by exhausting them to death, then was scouted out by Inc and joined the Slaves to Fate. He's an elitist who would mercilessly push around those in lower positions at his old job, which is why he was the first to go during the restructuring. His Stand power reflects that.
[Stand: Heavy Stereo]
Those who hear the tone it emits are suddenly overtaken by an acute feeling of exhaustion. The caterpillar-like Stand absorbs sounds around it and spits them back out. Those who hear the tones begin to feel extremely weary, their bodies start to feel heavy, and in extreme cases, even die from fatigue. Even if the Stand is defeated, its effects linger long after.

Same for this asshole.

DJ Inc:

A West Bengalese nature conservationist and radio personality who discovered his Stand while fleeing his war-torn hometown. After finding out from Raul that his town was a sacrificial pawn for the army, he vowed to use his Stand power to take control over the nation. Though he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, he acts as the eyes of his blind friend Raul and fosters his orphaned niece Alice, so it's hard to really say whether he's really evil.
[Stand: Lipps]
Able to bury its whispers deep into the sub-conscious. By burning certain words or phrases into the brain, it can be used for mind control. It can only be used at a hair's breadth away from the target, but in exchange, it's influence is incredibly powerful, and it can affect multiple people as long as they're in range. However, only one phrase can be burned in at a time, so it can't really be used for direct orders, and if the target is deaf or otherwise unable to listen, they won't be affected.
Originally, Lipps was one of the 18 Stands for the protagonist's use, but as it was too similar to Miracles, it was changed to a villainous Stand.

For reference, Miracles is the Long-range Control-type Stand, which manipulates people's brains with electrical signals. It notably has the only way of lowering the random encounter rate in earlier versions; I don't actually know what that ability does in the R Patch.

Raul the Blind:

A blind, West Bengalese musician who performs at the Sundarbans Radio Station. Discovered his Stand while fleeing his war-torn hometown. Because of his power, he learned that the army had sacrificed his town as a strategic maneuver, and that the military's top brass was secretly working with the guerillas responsible for the attack. After having a talk with his childhood friend Inc and letting him know the truth, they both resolved to annihilate the military in an act of vengeance.
[Stand: Synthesis]
Able to project any of his five senses like a radio signal. This way, though he's blind, he can borrow the vision of others to "see". Not only can he smell, taste, and hear things from afar, he can also project his own voice to distant ears. If someone else is touching the Stand or Raul, they too can project their senses. As long as there's a sense organ, that sense can be transmitted, so corpses or corpse parts can be used as an antenna. However, when receiving a signal, pain and damage will also be transmitted.

If it's also got the range of a radio, this is an insanely powerful Stand. Also would make for some great espionage opportunities.

alice.png Alice:

Inc's niece, an orphan who fled her hometown along with him and Raul. The shock of her family's death combined with her uncle's Stand awakening caused hers to awaken in response. The trauma of the incident caused her to develop a double personality. Her alter ego controls her Stand, and vows to get revenge on the world that took her family from her. Though normally a soft-spoken and mellow girl, her Stand consumes a lot of energy, so high-calorie food causes her to go into a frenzy and allows her other personality to take over.
[Stand: Sevendust]
Able to project itself onto physical objects, giving the object a worn-out and deteriorated appearance and the ability to attack with destructive energy. Though it's just a projection, and the object itself is unaffected, parts of the deteriorated image that fall off or crumble will become Stands themselves and can be controlled separately. Perhaps due to the fact that Inc is what spurred the Stand to awaken in the first place, if he gets too far away from Alice, the Stand will become dormant.

door.png The Hospital:

In Ancient Egypt, a sanatorium was hit by repeated attacks. The patients' will to survive permeated the Aswan building itself. The Stand tries to keep the hospital rooms safe. It doesn't seem to care about any room without medical equipment or even the patients themselves. It doesn't mind repairs or equipment replacement.
[Stand: Live Capsule]
It protects the site of a haunted hospital. It sounds like a security system and eliminates people who don't listen. A strange case among Stands, where the main Stand itself is a remote, autopilot Stand. The main Stand is nearly imperceptible. It also repairs equipment in the hospital rooms. The Stand only cares about rooms with medical equipment in it. Even if the hallways and stairs were destroyed, it wouldn't repair them or counterattack. It's possible to stop the security system and the counterattacks, but destroying the Stand itself seems to be impossible.

I guess it wouldn't be the worst hospital to be in. No broken equipment!

blackeyedpeas.png Heymama:

A mysterious 300-year-old tree that grows in the desert, has no leaves, and yet bears fruit. These fruits are both enticing and supremely delicious.
[Stand: Black Eyed Peas]
Anyone who eats its fruit will have the moisture slowly sucked out of them by an automatic, long-ranged lizard Stand. As long as it bites once, it can continue to absorb moisture from any distance. If pursued, it can fight back by firing off some of the absorbed moisture like a water gun.

Who named this one, do you think? I mean in-universe.

That's a lot! I even skipped one or two whom we didn't encounter during either playthrough, so keep an eye out for yourselves.

These rooms have sprites from existing JoJo characters, cordoned off by which Part they're from.

Glad someone does.

In the corner we have Clayman's house.

And, uh...

You folks can find out what's hidden inside the Pig Toilet on your own. I gotta leave some things hidden, you know?

One last Debug Room feature.

Seeing all of them piled into a room like this is pretty cool. It reminds you how much work was actually put into this thing.

I'm not even sure where (or if) these card sprites are used!

Examining this shadow in the bottom left makes these eyes appear. I genuinely have no idea where in the game these are.

I'm pretty sure those "damage" sprites get used elsewhere; I believe during the Death 13 dream world sequence.

Cascada: Lookin' good.

That's going to wrap up our tour of the Debug Room. Tune in next time for the LP's final update!
