Last time, Dio was destroyed by the power of one (1) American senator. This time, we wind back the clock and perhaps finally learn the secret of Dio's Stand. I'm also going to be taking a page out of the DavidPro anime's version and shuffle a couple scenes around.

I briefly thought this was an error in using the wrong portrait, but his sprite changes too. I checked the manga and Kakyoin does in fact dramatically remove his glasses at this point.

The entire sequence has the web flicking in and out of visibility. It's a pretty neat effect.

What does it all mean!? Cascada: Kakyoin... Did you unlock The World's secret!? Joseph: !! That must be it! He meant to break the clock... He broke the clock... Stopped the clock... Stopped the clock...? Cascada: !! Joseph: No... It can't be! That's it! That's Dio's Stand power! The power to stop time!
Joseph: I... I get it, Kakyoin! The message you gave your life to tell us... It came through loud and clear! Cascada: Kakyoin... Dio can stop time? A Stand that can act while time is stopped!? ...! That's... that's too powerful! It's just unfair!!
This is such a well-known reveal at this point that I assume anyone reading this Let's Play already knows. "ZA WARUDO" was an internet meme for years before JoJo really got popular westward. And as far as "we are so fucked" villain power level reveals go, it's got to be near the top of the list.
Here we've fully caught up to the end of Update 43.
Dio: ............Clever, Joseph... Channeling the Ripple to protect yourself... Wrapping Hermit Purple around your body like a high-voltage electric fence... ...You cheating old bastard. Joseph: ...I could say the same to you. ...Knowing I was using the Ripple, you restrained yourself... Tricky son of a gun... ...But I do know one thing about your Stand now...
Dio: ............So you figured out The World's ability? Hmph... Suppose I should give you some credit. Joseph: Kakyoin was the one who figured it out! Don't act as if his death was in vain! Dio: And? What difference does it make? Your feeble Ripple won't save you!
Joseph: Guh! U... urrrgh... Cascada: Mr. Joestar!! Dio: Hm... He fell, did he? Cascada: !! Dio: Girl. I may as well kill you now, but... I hope you don't mind if I partake in Joseph's blood first. Cascada:...Fuck y-
Cascada:HEY I WASN'T DONE ASSHOLE Joseph: !! Jo... Jotaro!! Stay back! Don't come over here! Dio: Jotaro... Just who I wanted to see... But he's still out of my range... I'll take care of Joseph first...
Dio: But... As my neck wound began to heal... That time eventually grew to 2, and then 3 seconds... And now, I can stop it as long as 5... Well, it seems strange to describe it as seconds, seeing as time is stopped... But 5 seconds nonetheless... Hm hm. Soon, it'll be 1 minute... 10 minutes... an hour! And someday, even longer than that... Dio: Whoops, careful there... Joseph was protecting his body using the Ripple. The Ripple may have been a thorn in my side 100 years ago, but it's powerless before The World.

Dio: In case you were wondering... Kakyoin is already dead. The girl that came with him is on the rooftop now shaking in her boots... What a pitiful friend you've brought along. Polnareff must be hiding somewhere... Hmph... Not that it matters. Jotaro... You're next... Jotaro: Bastard...!
Dio: Hm... You... You ambushed me from behind? You have more guts than I thought. Jotaro: The Machine!! Cascada: Run, Jotaro! We can't win against him even if we both have him cornered! Jotaro:Who are you and what have you done with The Machine!? Dio: You think I'll let him get away so easily?
Okay, so, Jotaro's FP route is basically easy mode, in that (as far as I know) it's the only one where you can run from every fight and watch the cutscenes lifted straight from the manga. The downside is that this specific fight right here is the only time your player character gets to participate.
Obviously Cascada ain't gonna lay down and roll over. But I also think the Dio battle is an all-timer battle shonen showdown, so we're going to do it both ways.
Dio can use The World to take an additional free turn, sometimes two. It's a pain in the ass.

Dio: Oh, must all the Joestars be such sore losers? Hmph! Fine. I'll humor your taunt just once... Let's trade blows again.
